I Saw a Boon
I keep walking to my doom,
Scented candles light my room
I hear a voice on the blue lagoon
I hear a curse, I see a boon.
I feel I am doomed to stay
On this island, live a banshee's day
She walks on charters, I serve in suits
I am like the mud on her boots.
I'll die alone, said she some night-
I know I'd accept my fate sans fight,
She herself must get what lurks
In her fate, however hard she barks.
I don't churn words out of spite
I don't intend to put up a fight
I would rather still correct my gait,
Or she'll use me as a fishing bait.
And bait is what is my destiny
I'll get what is coming to me
I won't escape my days of doom
Scented candles won't light my room.
Impressed
